Uganda Mt. Elgon coffee is grown on fertile volcanic slopes, where the rich soils, high altitude, and cool climate create ideal conditions for producing exceptional specialty coffee. With a strong focus on ethics and transparency, this coffee is processed using a distinctive combination of dry and cherry fermentation, featuring extended fermentation times and washing with cold spring water to enhance depth and clarity of flavour. Carefully sun-dried on raised African beds and meticulously sorted, it results in a clean, expressive cup with notes of panela, cardamom, and pineapple, balanced by light acidity and a creamy finish.
