Pentacrine gets its name from the small star-shaped fossils found here in the soil. It is a deliciously pure and fresh white from a blend of five different plots of old vines. This is a racy wine with a compelling palate that reveals tropical fruit, citrus aromas, a hint of pink grapefruit and nut flavours with a complex and long finish.
The grapes are hand-harvested and fermented in oak and aged on lees in large 600-litre oak barrels for 12 months with bâtonnage every nine days.
