El Diamante sits just outside Jaén and is one of the region’s most accessible coffee-growing areas. Up in the hills, smallholder families tend their farms between 1,700 and 2,000 MASL, growing catuai and castillo on the mid-slopes, while bourbon, caturra and typica thrive higher up where the air feels clearer and cooler. The area is surrounded by protected forest and fed by countless natural springs, giving the land a sense of calm and vitality that seems to carry through to the coffee itself.
In the cup, you’ll find apricot sweetness, a lift of lime, and a soft nutty finish – a clean, bright and genuinely memorable taste of El Diamante.
