Of the Orliac family's 300 hectares in Pic Saint-Loup, only 80 are cultivated, and the rest is forest. This commitment is to maintain balance. White grapes are planted at the bottom of the valley for the least exposure to the elements, and the lighter coloured soil reflects light and preserves freshness.
