This is a beautiful, classic tasting red Bordeaux. It is Merlot dominated with complex aromas and ripe tannins, which are soft and integrated. It exudes flavours of summer fruits, with a hint of cocoa and vanilla.
Pascal Delbeck, the former winemaker at Château Bélair, 1er Cru Classé Saint-Émilion, now working with his son and daughter, has been tending to 14 hectares for the past 20 years. Saint Georges has long been recognised as the most prestigious satellite Saint-Émilion. This site benefits from south-facing slopes, clay-limestones and sand soils from Perigord.
