The aromatic notes of dried cherry and black plums, as well as traces of mocha and dark chocolate. A robust, full-bodied palate with spicy fruit and supple tannins greets the palate. The 'ripasso' process imparts raisin and candied peel aromas, which are mixed with mellow, ripe cherry flavours. The aftertaste is lengthy and spicy, with hints of nutmeg.
