This washed Guatemalan bean comes from San Jose Del Largo-a coffee farm overlooking beautiful Lake Atitlan and not one but three majestic volcanoes. I'm always reminded of my visit to the lake in 2013, when I hear the 'morning call' in Birdhill. We stood near the lake sipping coffee, listening to the birds as the mist lifted over Atitlan. The coffee cherries have been harvested by hand and processed on the farm in the Cabrera family's historic wet mill. The passion that goes into this coffee has resulted in the perfect flavour. This coffee presents punchy flavours of sweet cherry and panels sugar. It's floral and lively, and definitely a crowd pleaser.
Flavour notes: sweet cherry, panel sugar, floral, super stable, complex, lively.
