Honduras Dulces Sueños is a blend of cherries produced by smallholder farmers in the Corquín region. The coffee is washed at cooperative facilities to ensure consistency, then decaffeinated in Germany using a water-based method. First, silver skins are removed with steam and airflow. Next, caffeine and other soluble compounds are extracted from the green beans with water, and the caffeine is filtered out using activated carbon. The solution is then reintroduced to the beans, which are carefully dried to restore their original moisture content.
